of Gaming Human Resources
About the Department
The Department of Gaming is a state government agency, but does not
receive any tax revenue or general fund monies for its support.
Positions with the Department are not part of the State merit system.
The main office is located in central Phoenix. The Department has
satellite offices located in Flagstaff and Tucson. Gaming
facilities are located throughout all of Arizona. Some positions with
the Department may periodically entail overnight travel.
All offices of the Department of Gaming
comply with the Smoke-Free Arizona Act
(A.R.S. § 36-601.01) passed by the
voters in the 2006 General Election.
